The fencing is 6ft high with 2ft of chicken wire from the ground up. A locked gate and secure car park make this a safe environment for your dogs.
Bookings are made online only.
- Go to the booking page on our website choose your 30 or 60 minute slot.
- You will then be redirected to a calendar; click on a date to suit you and available slots will be displayed (if it does not allow you to click onto the date we are fully booked).
- You will receive a confirmation email after you have made your booking.
- The gate code will be emailed 4 hours before your session begins and a text/email will be sent 15 mins before.
A maximum of 4 dogs at any one time
We provide 30 & 60 minute booking slots, this includes time for arriving and departing, please do not exceed the time you have booked as this impacts on the next client.
Failure to comply with this could result in us withdrawing your use of the facility
There is a secure car park to facilitate two cars, please do not enter more than 5 minutes before your session begins.
For everyone’s safety we operate a no contact changeover, so please ensure your dogs remain in the car until the previous field user departs.
It is the owner’s responsibility to ensure all dog waste is picked up and disposed of at the end of each session. There are multiple bins on site
Yes, there is a hosepipe on site.
Please ensure the tap is turned off after use. In the winter months please be aware there Is a possibility the water will be frozen.
Unfortunately, no toilet facilities are provided.
Yes. If your dog is showing any signs of illness, please do not book.
If you cannot attend your booking for whatever reason, you can simply move the booking to an alternative date and time.
Refer to your booking confirmation email where you will find a re-schedule button.
We now operate a no refund policy.

Banned Breeds and XL Bullies
Due to the changes in government legislation, we have updated the conditions of use for the XL Bully breed. Before booking a session at Locko Bark please ensure you can fulfil the following requirements:
- The dog is kept on a lead and muzzled until in the exercise field and the gate is securely shut.
- The dog is put back on a lead and muzzled before opening the gate and leaving the field.
- The dog handler ratio is 1:1.
- The dog is registered with the index of exempted dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is available and can be provided to us in the event of an incident.
- A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is available and can be provided to us in the event of an incident.
- The dog is neutered in line with government rules.
- The dog is micro chipped.
If your household has more than 1 dog, you can use the field together as long as the banned breed has its own handler and the other dogs are supervised with another member of your household. If there are multiple banned breeds within your household, each must have their own handler.
